DCCCD Graduation Ceremonies for 2018

It’s that time already — graduation season! In honor of your achievements, we’ve gathered up the date, time and location of each commencement ceremony for our colleges. We can’t wait to celebrate your accomplishments as you walk across the stage! Obviously you’ve already added the date to your calendar, written it down and are simply counting down the days… but, just in case, here they are:

Becoming Mom

While some 21-year-old students are out hitting the town, Genesis Escamilla is home hitting the books. She is a full-time college student, a full-time employee and a full-time single mom.

“I am full-time everything,” says Genesis laughing. “I just take flex term classes so it isn’t an overload all at once.”

Dennis Frazier’s #DCCCDLove as Both an Employee and Alumnus

Let’s talk about Dennis Frazier’s #DCCCDLove! His #DCCCDLove started when he was hired to work at North Lake College in a contracted position in the print shop. He worked there for ten years before becoming a department assistant in the Liberal Arts division in July 2008 and started pursuing his associate degree in 2010, just two years later.
