Want to gain real-world business experience? Applications are now open for the Fall mINiTERN program.
The mINiTERN program is a partnership between companies and Dallas College that provides students with real-world business experience and an opportunity to develop professional skills.
In the 10-week mINiTERN program, students, working with a team advisor, act as a consulting team to evaluate a company or industry issue. Students interact weekly sharing project plans, questions and findings with host company employees. Project teams present their analysis and strategic recommendations to the host company through a formal end-of-project presentation.
For a better sense of the program, watch the UTSW Medical Center’s final mINiTERN presentation Monday, Aug. 10, from noon to 1 p.m.
The Summer 2020 UTSW Medical Center mINiTERN group – Team SANIA – has explored modern biotechnology to modify genes that cause cancer to understand how future cancer-fighting drugs might be produced.
