Get the Information You Need About SNAP Benefits

We can all use a little bit of help right now. So, be sure to join DCCCD and the North Texas Food Bank’s Leyda Valdez for a pair of information sessions in June about the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

SNAP provides nutrition benefits to supplement the food budget of families in need, so they can purchase healthy food and become self-sufficient. And it’s free to apply for SNAP along with other social service assistance programs like Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and Healthy Texas Women.

Your eligibility to receive SNAP benefits depends on specific requirements, including resource and income limits.
