Register for Summer & Fall 2016 (Simultaneously!) on These Dates

Last updated on October 9, 2019

Milk and cookies… movies and popcorn… peanut butter and jelly… combined summer and fall registration.

(After all, some things are just meant to go together!)

Introducing: Combined Summer/Fall Registration in 2016

In the past, fall priority registration has opened in June, with fall semester classes beginning in August. The start date for fall classes won’t change – they’ll still begin in August like always – but for the first time, priority registration for current DCCCD students will begin April 19, and you’ll be able to register for Summer and Fall at the same time.

This change will allow students to plan out class schedules all the way through December and make it easier to stay on track academically. It might even help you out financially – students who register between April 19 and June 16 will have until June 30 to pay for their classes. Additionally, program coordinators will be able to identify high-demand classes and try to add additional course sections when necessary.

Not a Current DCCCD Student?

Apply for admission, go through orientation, complete assessment testing, then finish the advisement process and you’ll be able to register for classes starting April 25. The actual registration process hasn’t changed – just the dates. You’ll still be able to register online or on campus like normal.

(Note: The dual registration procedure is for credit students only; continuing education students will not be eligible. Financial aid procedures will not be affected by the new combined registration.)
