The Clock is Ticking: Deadline to Submit Transcripts for Fall Financial Aid is May 1

Last updated on September 26, 2019

Students who have attended colleges outside of DCCCD must submit all official transcripts by May 1 before fall financial aid eligibility can be determined. Additionally, transcripts cannot be evaluated until you have registered for classes — so make sure to register as early as possible!

Don’t know where to turn in your transcript? Transcripts should be mailed to the college you wish to attend. This can be accomplished by asking your previous college to send your official transcript to the Admissions/Registrar’s Office at the DCCCD college of your choice.

How long does transcript evaluation take? The length of time for transcript evaluation varies depending on when your transcript is received, the length of the transcript, and the time of year during which it’s received. Transcripts are evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis.

How will I know when my transcript evaluation is complete? Emails are sent to students notifying them of the completion of their transcript evaluations each evening, along with the number of hours transferred to a DCCCD college.

Who has to turn in transcripts? Anyone who has attended an institution of higher education outside of a college of DCCCD.
